Style

by Sean Beckingham

We’ve all got style. Some of us are more “stylish” or “fashionable” than others, but whether we know it or not, we all make choices in out daily routines that impact the delivery of our own personal brand. They say the clothes make the man, or dress for success, but each of these clichés means different things to each of us. Some of us need more help than others.

If you want to keep up on the latest fashion trends for men and/or our women, get up to the minute advice from the pros on grooming and grooming aids, personal care products, tips and tricks for looking your best, you will find some useful stuff here. While we will never be Italian Vogue, or the SEARS catalogue, we know some pretty stylish people with lots of international experience and perspectives on the world of fashion. Be it the runways of Milan, the men’s shows in New York, Marks Work Wearhouse or the local H&M, we have people on the ground.

So, if you are keen to find out about some new trends in fashion, interesting developments in safety, or what is just right for work wear, for the jobsite, design studio or the office on Wall Street or Main, what is coming down the pipe, what is cool today, or just “what not to wear” anymore, you can find it here. While our girlfriends, boyfriends, wives, husbands and significant others are always telling us what we should be wearing, it is really up to us to do our homework and make choices that fit and feel right with us.

Give us a while to get organized, but keep an eye open. If this type of thing holds any interest for you, come on back to see what we have in store for you. Think of us as your best friend. We’ll be honest, straight up and truthful about what you need to wear for the job interview, the big night out, the first big date since the divorce and so on. While we’ll aim to be straight up about these things, (from one brother to another, we may even tell you straight up that “yes, your ass does look fat in those jeans”) we do it with the best intentions to help you, and want you to know that in the end style is personal and subjective. We’ll throw some options out there for you to consider and let you decide. We won’t make you feel bad about your choices one way or another.

If you have any style or fashion questions, perk up. Post a comment or send us an e-mail. We would be only too pleased to chime right in and offer you our opinions and feedback. That is what we are here for.

Welcome. Come on in. Look around. Let us know what you think and want to see here. We are not a store, we do not have pesky salesmen trying to sell you a suit. Just friendly, helpful, knowledgeable fellow citizens who want you to become the best you, you can be.
